Earlier this year, residents and local children worked together with Co-Creative Connection to produce a community mural at Eastfields.

The mural was developed through a co-creation process, starting with a workshop in March 2025 where 30 children aged 7–14 explored colours, shapes and themes they wanted to see in their neighbourhood. Their ideas were then brought to life by artist Rose Hill, founder of Co-Creative Connection.

Every part of the mural reflects something shared by the community, from shapes that suggest movement and calm, to themes of nature, joy and imagination. The design brings together individual voices into one colourful and uplifting artwork.

The mural is now visible on the block Poppy Heights and it’s a celebration of creativity, connection, and the people who live here.
