Bilton estate to be regenerated
8 Mar 2026
Plans are progressing to regenerate the Bilton Estate in Rugby, with proposals to replace aging homes that are no longer fit for purpose and deliver new, modern homes built to current standards.
Some of the existing properties on the estate are of non‑traditional Cussins construction and have reached the end of their natural lifespan. Regeneration will provide better‑quality homes that meet modern design, sustainability and accessibility requirements.
The regeneration plans would see 111 Cussins-built homes on the estate transformed to just over 200 new homes, helping to increase the supply of much‑needed housing in the borough while improving living conditions for residents. The construction start on site is currently anticipated to be in 2028, completing in 2029.
